(More customer reviews)I have heard about this from other people and was sceptical, but bought it anyway. It helped my husband sleep all the way through the night on the first night in the room. He usually has a rough time getting to sleep and staying alseep, grinding his teeth and is usually very restless...not anymore. I don't wake up with headaches anymore either. My son wants one now for his room. Mine is a lot brighter than I had hoped, but putting a dark cloth over the top of it at night helps alot. I am recommending everyone get this whether they have problems sleeping or with headaches, or just plain stress (who doesn't have this?) If I had to, would I buy it again? ABSOLUTELY!!!

(More customer reviews)I'm not clear on the science behind "natural" ionization, but this lamp is definitely effective at doing something to lift the climate of a room. After a day of use, I've noticed that the room feels very relaxing. Walking in with the lamp running all day is like slipping into a hot bath after a hard day of work. If you pair this with natural light therapy, (e.g., use full-spectrum light bulbs in your lamps or lighting fixtures) I'm guessing this would be really effective at treating seasonal depression. I suppose my only complaint is that the room I use this lamp in feels too relaxing. I get drowsy after being around it for an hour or so.
It's also worth mentioning that the lamp is very aesthetic. You'd be surprised at how captivating a glowing chunk of halite can really be.

(More customer reviews)These lamps really make a stunning addition to any home, but on top of that, they really do have health benefits. The lamps emit negative ions when warm, which bond to and counteract the positively charged dust and allergens in the air, as well as positive ions produces by computers. I keep one in my room near my laptop and always have it turned on while im working. I really do feel more energized and less groggy or depressed. I found mine at Home Goods though for $15, which is a little better than these after shipping is tacked on to the price. I also have a tea lite holder, but it doesn't work as well, especially since the candle is emitting smoke into the room that your trying to clean. It does make the room more cozy on cold nights though.
