(More customer reviews)So I bought this thing for 22 bucks not thinking it was going to do much. But it actually worked out great. My gf and I live in an apartment and we tend to get nervous when we toke up, especially wen it's just the two of us. This smokebuddy filters all the smoke great. I even tested it, once person smoked, the other tried to smell the smoke as the other were blowing into the buddy, does this make sense haha. My only problem was I used it probably every other day for the last month and the filter is clogged up already. Must be 300+ uses, but I wish it could do a little more for the price. Maybe they should do a brita filter thing, buy the cartridge then the filters can be bought separate, then recharged to 100% when replaced. Idk, sounds genius to me. Good product though none-the-less.

(More customer reviews)Fine performing filters which don't clog the airflow. You will see many listings on Amazon for Trion replacment filters but these are the real thing. As far as I know this is the only listing for genuine Air Bear/Trion filters this size. Also, be sure to match the filters (MERV) level of your old filter--those that filter finer than the OEM filter can restrict the airflow more and put too much of a load on the blower fan.

Alen TF30-MP Odor Control Filter (T100/T300) 2pk Review

(More customer reviews)The price is likely justified once the true cost of making this filter is understood and I suppose $45 per filter isn't all that expensive. On the other hand, it's far more expensive than the standard Alen HEPA filter.
So far, the room I placed this in smells very "fresh" and clean, with no hint of excessive ozone production (with my purifier's ionizer set to "on").
My combined rating for the filter AND the purifier is 5 stars; I just like to see the price on these filters come down a bit.

(More customer reviews)Really like the size of this unit and it starts right up when you plug it in. Easy to operate and move to any location n the house. It is quiet for a dehumidifier. Only complaint is that the plastic shield to direct air flow is flimsy. We tried to redirect the flow and it fell off. When you try to put it back on it is difficult and one pin broke. Luckily the shield is more window dressing, as the unit works well without it. It has a nice extra feature of an ionizer to purify the air. Not sure if this really works, but we have all breathed easier since we have run this dehumidifier in our home.

Healthmate Jr. HEGA Review

(More customer reviews)I bought the Austin Healthmate Jr. about 5 years ago for a dusty area and have been happy with it. The three things I like best about it are that you don't have to buy filters very often because you can vacuum the outside of the filter and that it's relatively quiet. The other thing is that it's a HEPA filter takes air in on all four sides and blows the filtered air out through the top area. It seems to do a good job of filtering the air. It's more energy efficient than air purifiers I've used in the past and it has 3 speeds which is nice.
If you use it in really dusty conditions like mine, you can replace the pre-filter more often than the big filter. I've found this type of material that I could cut to fit at a local hardware store. You get a pre-filter with it. You have to take it apart to replace the pre-filter and filters, but it isn't difficult. You can turn off the machine and vacuum it from the outside and that seems to help the filters last longer. Of course, you'll want to use a vacuum cleaner with a hepa filter or you defeat the purpose. I replace mine about once a year, but I think the average person could go much longer.

Graco Humidifier Replacement Filter for 4.0 Gallon Review

(More customer reviews)I cleaned the unit (Graco 4-gallon cool mist) every day and filled it with water run through a very good quality countertop filter. Even doing this, I went through two of these $11 filters per WEEK (TWENTY-FOUR TIMES as many filters as stated by the manufacturer!), and simply couldn't afford to spend nearly $90 a month (just in filters!) to run a humidifier. That is, putting it simply, absolutely insane. Design is faulty -- filtered water shouldn't trash a brand-new filter in less than four days. I don't know anyone who could afford $90 a month for humidifier filters.

Here are the pros and cons as I see them.
Pros:
1. It pushes a lot of air - I can get a nice breeze from as far as 25 feet away.
2. It doesnt take up a lot of room.
3. It is not ugly like many fans are.
4. The remote control with flashlight is a nice feature even though I rarely use it. For the person who complained about one LED being burned out straight out of the box. Only one LED is for the flashlight. The other is for the remote control functions and doesnt illuminate.
Cons
1. The breeze feature is kind of annoying because of the fluctuation of the noise level.
2. You have to hold the remote in a specific postition to make it work. If the fan is oscillating, its hard to find that position.

(More customer reviews)We purchased the frog Crane humidifier after having 2 that just wouldn't put out enough mist, we can squeeze this one in the bathroom sink to fill it, it works very well, and is cute too. I would imagine that any that are in that shape would work very well.
After my child started liking Sponge Bob, we decided to buy him the Crane Sponge Bob humidifier. It doesn't put out as much mist as the frog, as you can see in the picture I added under images, and we can't fill this one in the bathroom sink. It's no big deal, because we can use the kitchen sink or the bathtub, but in the middle of the night, if you realize it's out of water, it can be a pain. We still love the Sponge Bob...

We have the litter boxes in two separate areas and then we have a problem area where one of our cats insists on peeing in a corner by an air vent. We put one of these in the corner, and one each in the different litter box areas. The odors are gone and it seems that the problem in the corner has been stopped. If you live in a multi-cat household and have problems with odors, this is a must have item! The ones that came said that they were for refrigerator/freezer, but they are all the same.

(More customer reviews)This is a great unit and just like it states it is wisper quiet. Easy to read digital temp. Took about 5 min to warm a 63 degree room to 72! Takes up little space, I put mine in the corner and you don't even know its there. It is also an attractive unit that I don't mind having in any room of the house. The remote controol is a plus also. I Did not think I needed it, but now that I have it, I love that feature also. There is an easy to use timer on the unit also. That is a nice feature so you don't forget to turn it off when you go to work etc. I am thinking about ordering another one as this is such a handy unit. With heating costs this winter it is a money saver to use this electric unit to supplement your heat.

(More customer reviews)We invested in this pricey air purifier because we moved into newly built home. The chemicals from the new materials caused respiratory issues with myself and my daughter. The unit itself definitely helped the issue of airborne chemicals yet the 4 gas cartridges didn't last nearly as long as the manufacturer stated. In fact, the unit itself began to emit chemical odors after 6 months. I have had to replace the gas cartridges 3 times since I purchased this system and at $295 each time I'm not sure how much longer we can afford to keep it running.

My girlfriend said she could smell it just barely, but not enough to actually think about it. You will have to clean it about once every 2 weeks. I don't mind this of course... it just means its doing its job. LOTS OF DUST gets collected.. I was shocked to be honest. You won't even need to depend on the clean indicator light. You will be able to hear a quiet buzz when it needs to be cleaned. I recommended this to my Mom and she got 2, loves them both.
